The Power Plant

Inspired by Leslie Hewitt’s new work Untitled (Structures), in collaboration with cinematographer Bradford Young, this workshop will focus on creating visual narratives through image manipulation and juxtaposition. After a short discussion about image production and manipulation, participants will create a fantastical diptych collage out of found images and various artistic materials. Playing on the idea of the creative viewpoint, the collages will framed within an imaginary window, emphasizing perspective and point of view. At the end of the workshop, participants can take their collages home.
