The Power Plant and No.9 are thrilled to present SUMMER ART & DESIGN CAMP 2025!

Register your teen for a dynamic, week-long summer camp where they'll explore Toronto's waterfront, sustainability, and the intersections of art and architecture. Imagining My Sustainable Community invites campers to reimagine the future of the city while discovering their passion for design and innovation.

“Empowering and investing in youth to participate in civic engagement is key to design sustainable communities. By providing training, tools and giving the space and time to imagine and experiment, we can help them to represent and present their ideas.”

—Andrew Davies, Executive Director, No.9

Ages: 11–14

Week 1: August 11–15, 2025 | 9:30 AM–3:30 PM

Week 2: August 18–22, 2025 | 9:30 AM–3:30 PM

Fee: $400/week

This award-winning program, recognized by UN-Habitat for its impact on positive urban change, empowers youth to be part of that transformation!

Throughout the week, campers will take part in a hands-on, multimedia studio experience led by artists and architectural designers. They’ll explore climate art, model-making, and sustainable community design. Guided by No.9’s pillars of sustainability and The Power Plant’s exhibition program, participants will imagine, design, and build their own unique projects while tackling creative solutions to climate challenges. Through indoor and outdoor activities, they’ll also learn about the urban history of Toronto’s waterfront and envision a more sustainable future.
